First Aid Course - Some General Terms & Conditions You Should Be Aware of Prior To Booking: -

Prices assume provision of training at the client’s venue. To discuss an alternative venue and related costs please contact Viking Medical Ltd.
Provision of training is dependent upon all course fees being paid in full, ten (10) working days prior to start of course unless invoicing by prior arrangement with a Director at Viking Medical Ltd and subject to contract.
Fees include trainer costs, all consumable equipment, learner registration and certification with awarding body (ITC First) and appropriate course manual.
Group fee is payable in full regardless of the number of learners that actually attend training and is non-refundable.
Parking for one (1) estate vehicle will be required at the client’s premises to allow access with training equipment. The client is responsible for payment of any parking charges in full.
Trainers require access to the client’s training venue at least 30 mins before and after training in order to set up and clear away.
The client must ensure that all learners are appropriate persons to undertake first aid training (physically fit and willing to fully participate). Learners nominated by the client must be aware that they will be required to demonstrate competency via practical skills assessment and knowledge based multiple choice questionnaire (MCQ). Practical skills demonstration requires that learners are able to touch one another, move from standing to floor and kneeling without difficulty, roll a person on the floor and be rolled. Learners who are unable to complete required skills demonstrations may be referred and will not be shown as competent or receive certification as per the requirements of awarding and regulating bodies. Learners should dress appropriately for floor-work activity, e.g. tracksuit.
The client will be responsible for ensuring that learners have both the written and spoken English skills necessary to complete the course and will inform Viking Medical Ltd of any specific individual learning needs prior to the start of any course.
All learners must be punctual for start of training sessions to avoid disruption of the course and FULL ATTENDANCE is a requirement in order to achieve certification.
Course evaluation sheets will be issued upon completion of all courses and learner feedback will be shared with the client.
